In Memory

Eravamo ai primi anni 60, forse il 63 o il 64... massimo il 65. Io avrò avuto 6 o 7 anni. Eravamo a Loreto in visita al Santuario della Madonna di Loreto, io, mia Mamma e mio Babbo. Mia sorella non so perché non ci fosse, o forse c'era ed era lei che ha scattato questa foto.  

Saranno passati da allora una cinquantina di anni. Una vita... la mia e la loro! Una famiglia come tante che tra difficoltà e soddisfazioni ha attraversato la 2° metà del '900. 

Ora loro non ci sono più! 

Mio Babbo se n'è andato il 9 agosto 2012 all'età di 87 anni e mia Mamma se n'è andata il 31 dicembre 2014 all'età di 93 anni. 

A me piace ricordarli così. Grazie Mamma, grazie Babbo!

ENGLISH VERSION

Early '60s, maybe '63 or '64, at most '65. I were 6 or 7 years old. Me, my Mama and my Father were in Loreto visiting the Sanctuary of the Madonna of Loreto. My sister is missing, I do not remember why she was not there, maybe she was the one who took the photo.

Fifty years later, a life has passed ... mine and theirs! We were a family like many others in the second half of the 20th century, that went through difficulties and satisfactions.

Now, mum and dad are gone.

My Father passed away on August 9th 2012 at the age of 87 and my Mum left on December 31st 2014 at the age of 93. I like to remember them this way.

Thanks Mamma, thanks Babbo!
